he also brings way too many snacks, his backpack is like 80% food and 20% school

he passes you notes when he's bored and it's usually dumb prompts like

when you don't wanna respond he bribes you with a snack

you laugh at least once a day thanks to gyuvin

his mind short circuits and he doesn't know why you're holding his hand, but he just stares at it

that effectively distracts him until the bell rang

when class is over you remove your hands from his and go about your day

he's stuck thinking "so, what are we?" in his head

im having Thoughts abt my living situation (past, present, and future) and im gonna ramble abt it on tumblr bc this blog is my diary

ive Officially lived on my own since april 2023 and i love it so much !!!!!! (tho if rent goes up any more and my job continues to have shit pay i may not get to anymore but anywayssss...) growing up i always wanted to live on my own but as i aged i grew fearful i wouldnt be able to bc of lack of independence emotionally, physically, and financially but i did it and i was worried id end up hating it or be lonely but no it fucks severely

that being said i loved living in my childhood home but couldve done with less constant people time LOL (or just more freedom ig) and then in college i lived with friends the whole time and that was a bit rocky for a while but the last few years (in the attic apartment) were amazing and i was sad to leave but at the same time i knew i had to if i wanted to eventually get my own place and i also had some fears abt my roommate (he hates living alone absolutely hates it and i loved living with him and hes said repeatedly he loved living with me but a part of me always wonders if thats bc it was me or if anyone wouldve done? like any friend/person that would spend time with him idk) (if my friend is reading this no youre not) (and it worked out anyway bc he moved states like a year or so after we stopped living together so i wouldve had to leave the attic apartment anyway lol) then i lived with my parents again and eventually found a job i lowkey hate but am usually neutral abt and got my own place and yeah!!

the Thing is one of my sisters and i always talked abt our dream houses and one day she merged it into us living together and also me helping her whenever she decides to have a kid (i offered to if we would be living together)(despite me not being comfortable with kids really idk i have 6 nieces/nephews aged 8 and under but i still dont know how to interact with them and am scared of babies and wont even hold them if theyre less than 6 months and even then it makes me so nervous) ANYWAYS i promised her id help her (even if its just like cleaning around the house or stuff like that) and maybe even try with baby/kid stuff bc shes planning on being a single mom

the thing is i knew she was being 100% serious and i do mean what i said but i also dont think i really Realized and also i may have been thinking hypothetically/jokingly kinda? without realizing? that that could be my actual future?? and shes potentially looking at getting a house rn and i wouldnt be moving into it anytime soon but she was asking me if id like to one day and is asking me abt stuff and it hit me like Oh Shit and i also realized her proposed deadline for starting to have her own kids is coming up in the next like 2-ish years (shes in her mid thirties) and im like. i actually dont want any of that lol

like i Just got out on my own? and id like to remain that way for a long time if possible? potentially forever?? and thinking on it if i ever got a house of my own i imagine itd be smaller and stuff and like the places we've talked abt id have my own space for sure like basically a mini apartment/basement scenario but thinking on it now i dont think thats good enough for me? bc someone will still be there living with me even if it is like upstairs or whatever and will be wanting to spend time with me that i may not want to be sharing (this was the first 18 years of my life lol) and not only that but there will be at least one if not two kids and ive never lived with anyone younger than me for an extended period of time and ahhhhhh

idk just having realizations ig and idk if theyll change or if I'll have to break her heart or if I'll have to put up with living with ppl again idkkkk

Alrighty, I was thinking (as usual 💀)...

(this is lowkey inspired by my experience lmao)

Imagine reader has like, super-ish long hair. She's been growing it out before and after the apocalypse, so it's down to her butt.

Reader has been wanting to cut it for a while. But is too nervous to lol. So one day, she's talking to Enid, who's playing with her long wavy hair, and listens to reader ramble on about how she wants it to be short like Enid's but is too nervous? Hesitant? Whatever the word is-

So Enid offers to cut it for her! Ofc reader is kinda shocked by the offer, but feels super honored. (It's Enid, let's be real yo-). Enid tells her not to worry, because she used to cut her dad's hair (she actually did 🥺).

So yea, basically Enid ends up cutting readers hair to her shoulders, after years of the reader wanting short hair!!

i love this so much. when i was younger i had superrrr long hair but when i got older i chopped it all off bc my hair is also really thick so it got knotty really fast . also this scene :’) like two seconds after this everything goes to shit but Enid cutting her hair warmed my heart sm :’)) tysm for sending this in i hope you enjoy 🩷

you sat in between Enid’s legs as you both watched the movie playing in front of you. her fingers ran through your long hair softly, trying not to pull at any of the strands to hurt you.

if you were being honest, you loved the way it felt when Enid touched your hair like this, but you were getting tired of how long it had become.

you were growing it out before the apocalypse broke out, and you soon realized that it would be almost impossible to have it cut again. it was down to your ass at this point, maybe even longer. it was such a hassle to brush it every day, multiple times at that.

as Enid ran her fingers through your hair, her fingers suddenly got stuck in a knot. you hissed as a first initial reaction, and Enid panicked, “oh my god, i’m so sorry! are you okay?”

“i’m fine.” you chuckled. “i really hate how long my hair is gotten though.” you said with a pout. “it’s so hard to take care of now. i just want to- chop it all off but i’m scared.”

you then changed your position between her legs so you could look at her. you stared to run your fingers through her short strands. “i want my hair to be like yours. its so beautiful. it barely gives you problems and i want that too. but every time i pick up the scissors i get nervous and back out of it. but i’m so sick and tired of dealing with this mess.” you ranted, and you didn’t even realize that you were.

but Enid listened intently, not forgetting a single word you said. she smiled, messing with the messy locks of hair.

it felt like a light bulb suddenly appeared above Enid, “i could cut it for you!” she exclaimed. your eyes widened slightly, “what? are- are you sure?”

“yes! i cut Maggie’s hair a few years back! i want to cut it for you, it can be like mine, just like you said.” she giggled, ruffling your hair teasingly.

even though it wasn’t you doing the cutting, it still worried you. what if you hated how it looked afterwards? what if Enid hated it?

you took a deep breath, “okay. lets do it.” Enid clapped and pulled you up, dragging you to the kitchen. she pushed you down into a chair and left you there as she went to find a towel and the scissors.

your heart raced the longer she was gone. this was actually happening. almost all of your hair would be chopped off finally.

Enid skipped back into kitchen, a blue pair of scissors in her hands. “don’t run with scissors!” you whined. “you’re gonna fall and hurt yourself.”

“it’s very rude to underestimate your girlfriend. are you ready?” with a playful roll of your eyes and a laugh, you nodded. “yeah, i’m ready. i think.”

Enid brushed your hair back and picked up the scissors. “before i do the first cut, you need to tell me if you’re absolutely sure about this, love.”

“i’m sure.” you said. “just nervous.”

“don’t be. you’ll be okay.” you closed your eyes as she brought the scissors down to the end of your hair. she gripped the end and started to slice the scissors through your hair.

“look.” Enid mumbled. you opened your eyes, and Enid held up the chunk of your hair that she just cut off. “oh my god.” you choked out, “i’ve never had it cut like this before. it’s just… it’s weird to see.”

“want me to keep going?” she asked, setting down the chunk of your hair. “yeah,” you nodded. “cut it like yours.”

Enid continued to cut off inches at a time, setting them down next to you. you could feel the back of your head getting lighter as she kept going. it was a new feeling. a good feeling.

after a few minutes, you started to feel your hair tickle your neck. that was new. “i’m done!” Enid exclaimed. before you could answer, she shoved a mirror into your hands. “do you like it?”

you panned the mirror on you, freezing as you stared at your new hair, it changed how you looked entirely, it took you a moment to even recognize yourself.

slowly, you turned your head left and right, looking at it from all angles. it was so different, you couldn’t process it. but… you loved it.

“i love it.” you whispered. Enid smiled widely, “really?” she asked. you nodded, “y-yeah, you did amazing, baby.”

“you look amazing.” she said, leaning down to kiss your head. “god, you really do look different. but like, in a really hot way.”

you furrowed your eyebrows and broke into laughter, Enid following. you stood up and pulled her into a hug. “thank you for doing this, Enid. seriously.”

“anytime.” she mumbled into your neck, kissing the spot in front of her lips. “there’s one downside though.” she said.

you were silent for a moment, “and what’s that?”

Enid sighed, “tugging on your hair when you’re eating me out.” you gasped and hit her shoulder lightly, “Enid!”

so in Dangerous Oikawa has to give a. massive apology to reader BUT BUT BUT (unless i misunderstood) Iwaizumi owes an apology too to readers.

it wasn’t really mentioned in the fic if iwaizumi kept in touch with oikawa after the bistro incident…and as far as it was revealed he knew little to nothing about reader and her relationship with oikawa. IF SO then he had no right in lowkey gaslighting oikawa in that phone call saying he could not drop his (their) dream just for reader and then saying she was just a Ran’s placeholder AS if oikawa could/should never move on from Ran - unconsciously he was already movin on….

also i don’t recall, in the bistro incident who (if osamu or Ran’s man) in the end told oikawa to stay away from ran (forever i suppose)…then during the wedding day the gc was full of pictures of them being happy and oikawa left the gc BUT Osamu added him again 🥴🥴 what’s with this toxicity

he fucked up, no one can deny it, BUT it takes two to have an affair (if that’s what really happened) unless the cheater lies about their single status. Let’s not forget that in the end Ran told oikawa that she would always choose her boyfriend (Ran’s plushie) - as a lover. What was Oikawa supposed to do? Yes, he promised the boyfriend he was staying till he came back (from i dont even know where he went) BUT in my own opinion a good friend understands that sometimes (right or wrong) we have to prioritise ourselves and not someone else’s well being (Ran’s in this case).

cant wait to know the boyfriends name to yell at him a big fat F.O bc if he and ran didn’t have a complicated relationship then im pretty sure many thing could have been prevented. 😬

so far i’ve yet too see the boys held Ran accountable for her mistakes (?) - i.e the affair - i mean only two people went to argentina but my gut feeling is telling me that everyone in the gc thought oikawa was the -only one - at fault (whether they knew about the affair or not)

also this might be an unpopular opinion but all the boys seems to be a bit too (over)protective of Ran’s well being (we know she had her problems growing up but who didn’t) to the point where they not just protect but coddle her too…like from their point of view she cant do no wrongs and her happiness comes always first (it doesn’t matter if they -the boys - are breaking bc they are in love with her and they don’t have a chance).

since they will never have Ran romantically (oikawa’s story proves it) they will do everything to make her happy/life easier being at her beck and call and at the same time as they grow up and life goes on they meet new people (readers from the different spin offs) they will not only prevent themselves to move on and be actually happy but, at the same time, hurt the various readers, some more than others (ie kuroo’s spin off). ngl this is kinda a toxic behaviour (from the boys pov) 🫣

sooner or later they will understand/realise that their happiness can be linked to someone else and maybe what they really needed to move on was time and space (away from Ran). A clear example (so far) is kuroo’s story, it took him literally years to realise (his) reader was the one for him and also to actually see that he was already in love with her but he always dismissed those feelings bc he was so present and active in Ran and the twins lives everyone would think he was the actual father 🤔🥴 …and the way kuroo’s realisation was worded sounded like he was too late?

Semi’s story is similar, but completely different at the same time compared to kuroo’s (referring to the time skip when they are no longer uni students but working adults). Semi’s reader, the singer, was a his friend and her presence was sort of a constant reminder that he should stop being delusional about Ran since she was happy with a family. He might not had space (away from Ran) but the singer was there with him when he babysat the twins, they even argued about it.

While Kuroo’s delusions where strong enough not even kenma could do much about it. at a certain point he wasn’t even taking care of himself but it was reader silently doing it. Ran’s twins were sick, he was rushing to them, it was their birthday, he couldn’t miss it. someone implied he might be one of the godfathers but still…he was doing what a father is supposed to do/not miss. Where the heck was Ran’s husband in all of this? In the end readers words (when she talked with kenma) were true: if kuroo doesn’t take care of him (and his heart) who’s gonna do it? if reader wasn’t silently there kuroo might have collapsed bc of exhaustion between his workplace and Ran’s house 🫡🫡 Kuroo’s missing an outsider’s pov (Semi’s reader) who could tell him what is he living for? if Ran’s and the twins’ well being is his own purpose of life then maybe he should rethink about it. What would Ran think if she finds out he’s devoting (not her finding about he being in love with her but just as a friend) his life to her family. I don’t think she would be happy

Ngl as much as i want to see all the spin off boys be happy with their respective readers i wouldn’t mind see kuroo suffer after the realisation he lost his true love of his life (reader). Her falling for someone else would be a deja vu BUT her dying *chef’s kiss* You can fix many things but not prevent someone’s death 😬

one last thing: in the main story is there gonna be a chapter where Ran kind of realise she was the reason (unconsciously obliviously) some of the boys where keeping potential love interest at an arm’s length/not wanting anyone in their lives bc of her?

okay i'll loosen a little to explain further the issues presented aaaand i would like you to know anon that i appreciate these kind of asks because some people also needs to ask this 🥺🥺 thank you for collating it for you and for them 🥺🥺 so okay..

yep, and Oikawa and Iwaizumi would be there to apologize.. for maybe (2 weeks for iwa 3 months for Tooru ANDDD ssh) they'll be with someone else in here andー🙈 eitherway, Tooru and Ran would still have a VERY complicated "interaction" (i wont say relationship), but she, too, will apologize.

hajime is aware of all that's happening to tooru in san juan and he didn't bat an eye on everything tooru shares day by day, and he updates him with SOMETHING I CAN'T SAY. All I can say is that he has every right to gaslight tooru in that phone call because tooru himself is confused and iwacchan intended to make him realize his feelings (he intends to say that tooru should take yn to his world if he really loves her, prove to iwacchan he has moved on, but tooru can't even say anything at that moment other than his attempt to drop their dreams for her, that's where they both fucked up)

it was ran's plushie that said tooru should stay away from Ran (didn't say forever), i will say it here coz ill not be stating this in the other chap so.. tooru previously left the chat consequently when he left Japan, Kei added him back tho and that was enough for the others to understand a little of what's happening (ran not batting an eye on that too, she doesn't care). and osamu is not toxic in that scene i swearrrr, he knows kei's intentions on adding tooru back, but yes they are teasing tooru in a very savage way i believe he deserves.

yep, tooru fucked up bigtime but i dont remember saying Ran had an affair with him or something............. it's safe to say that Ran's plushie intended to leave Ran on tooru's care as a friend AND THAT'S ALL THAT I CAN SAY, let's just say tooru made a really REALLY big mistake that destroyed Ran and i think everyone who's close to them (especially Ran's plushie).

and no, you can't yell at him 🥺🥺 im not revealing his name but really, you would understand why they have a complicated relationship. in the fic, you would first see Ran's POV, i mean the entire first half of the fic is hers, then 2 POVs of Ran's plushie explaining the events he cant say to Ran (but he did say to the boys) AAAAAAHHH SSSSHHー

i mentioned that Ran, Tadashi and Kei are in levels of density other people can't reach (in Kageyama's) but yep, it's not an excuse but she really doesn't know anything else toottoot i think Osamu's spinoff would relieve your issue on this coz it will tackle Ran's density (but still lowkey) but it will show you another side of Ran. AND they are protective of Ran, especially the Karasuno ones, because they know something others don't, and there are groups within the "volleyball idiots GC" that knows other "issues of Ran they can't tell anyone about". let's say there are 3 groups of that, one being lowkey mentioned on other fics i wont tell.

yeah, they are loving Ran in a toxic behavior im not gonna deny it but i think that tooru is just the hard-smacked lover, tetsu is well yeah YOU WOULD UNDERSTAND KUROO TETSUROU LATER IN THE FIC and add "3 someones" there, because they have the same issue.

and 🥺 we're tackling my Semi 🥺 but i can't say anything about hiiim, and yea, he's clearly different with the others. and i can't say it's a "delusion" for tetsu. all i can say to explain tetsu is that "Ran's plushie gave him something he can't afford to lose". and where is "Ran's plushie" in all of this.. i cant sayyyyyyy 💔 but tetsu devoting his everything to Ran has some sort of explanation in the fic, don'cha'worry. AND HEYYY did i say that kuroo's yn is some sort of a game changer (but for the 2nd fic). and believe me, Ran knows what's happening to whom, you'll understand her more soooon.

and omg, kuroo's yn dyingggg, I LAUGHED SO HARD. 👀👀👀 you might wanna read that portion again and you'll know when you know, then pm me if you have a hunch.

in a chapter, Ran will realize everything after she loses something really big. someone will sit and talk with her about these things and that will lead to her apologizing to tooru's yn, and to the others as well, but i dont think she's accounted to apologize butーAH YOU'LL KNOW YOU WILL KNOW I SWEAR. but you will see something like this (but lowkey) in Osamu's soon enough.

hi, ryen! i just saw it was 3tan anniversary and tho i’m late i wanted to leave a little message too!

i’ve said it about a hundred times already, but three tangerines is so special to me. this world you’ve created and to which you dedicate so much of your time and heart has become nothing short of comfort to me. reading your words, regardless of how angsty they often can be, feels like a hug. from yoongi slowly coming down to vulnerability, to reader slowly opening up to change and affection – these are the characters whose struggles i’ve followed hand in hand, by your side!

i know i’ve been absent and i’ve missed this community a lot (saw there’s a discord happening too, and imma apply to it asap!!), but i’ve never left, cus three tan is always with me. it’s with me when i take some time to breath and remember that i deserve to be loved, when i speak myself despite being afraid of how i’ll be perceived, when i watch fireworks or simply when i remember a dialogue, a scene, and i smile. you’ve achieved something so beautiful and so especial and i hope you know that.

you KNOW how much this series means to me, how much it has changed me. your talent, your skill, your creativity and your vision has lead us all to breath together with these characters, to feel their pain but also, and most importantly, to grow with them, and i lowkey hope this journey never ends – and i know that, even when the last chapter comes (LONG IN THE FUTURE!!), this will stay forever. three tan will have as many birthdays as its readers.

this world is special to me, as well, and all of you are part of that. thinking of you all every single day alongside these characters has just become part of my life. and it's gonna continue to be this way for a very, very long time. we've been living lives with them - growing, changing, improving - and that is wonderful to witness.

everything you've mentioned about when you think of them? same. i just saw fireworks yesterday, and i thought of that balcony. and everything that has happened since that night fireworks was posted. as we approach the new year, you best believe i will be thinking about all of you once again.

i’ve written reviews that aren’t nearly enough to express my love to your and your work. i’ve cried, i’ve laughed and i’ve kicked my feet. 3tan yoongi, very much like real life yoongi, is a safe space for me and many others, and he was written by your hand. by your care with your characters, by your preoccupation with always giving us the best, by your moments of pause and ponder and by your incredible talent. every lil hiatus, every interaction, every thirst days in the side blog, every ask game, every teaser you’ve posted, are all pieces of the beautiful now two-year-old mosaic of three tangerines, and it’s been an honor to be part of this journey, even if i’m a lil away. you KNOW how much this series means to me, how much it has changed me. your talent, your skill, your creativity and your vision has lead us all to breath together with these characters, to feel their pain but also, and most importantly, to grow with them, and i lowkey hope this journey never ends – and i know that, even when the last chapter comes (LONG IN THE FUTURE!!), this will stay forever. three tan will have as many birthdays as its readers.

3tan yoongi means just as much to me as y'all, and reader, and everyone that's involved in this series. to know that he's like that in your life like irl yoongi? i want to cry. for real, it means so incredibly much to me that you've found comfort in both of them. i don't know what else to say other than it's the biggest damn honor i could ever think of.

even if i'm a little far away sometimes, just know that i am always coming back to 3tan. i work on it the most out of everything i've got going on, to the point where it's become part of me and my daily routine. the goal is to finish it out just as strong as it's been going thus far! and that includes all the fun times we have on this blog and discord and elsewhere!

Oh my god you're so smart I'm kissing your brain. I'm absoloutley hearing what ur laying down now watch me grab it by the throat and sprint into the great beyond with it

I actually fucking love the idea of Tobirama sending the ninja equivalent of a "lost dog" poster to his aunt going "girl is this thing yours??"

"Yo auntie come get your dog please it's tearing up my lawn"

Once again borrowing ideas from half forgotten fics I don't even remember the premise of anymore: let's go with the "as a really small and territorial clan, Hatake's REALLY value their young. Family is family and they're very very careful to keep a close eye on all their lines."

So when they hear that there may or may not be a missing Hatake— something virtually unheard of to them bc again, careful track of their lines, small clan who's generally seen as too "wild" to be worth the time and effort bloodline theft — hell yeah they'll send one or two people to go sniff around.

And hey, this lost little Hatake is a riot! Doesn't wanna come home with them tho :(

So they send a letter back home that basically says, "lost hatake is very cute, very insane tho (which makes him cuter) also these a baby here that bites (Itachi), having too much fun to come back, xoxo get fucked"

To which the rest of the clan, who doesn't really have much going on for them other than fucking around with wolves, goes *what the FUCK I want want to see the baby that bites why do these losers get to have all the fun*

Which then results in a slow trickle of the rest of the Hatake's coming over. And the clan is like, really small. Like honestly 20 people tops. And 3 of them are actual infants. So it's not that crazy big of a move.

I'm gonna actually go ahead and say they were already a nomadic clan, so this isn't that insane of a move for them in general (I don't think I'd buy a properly rooted clan just up and leaving their home, even for some cute, mentally deranged long lost cousin)

But like they're nomadic !!! They never really stay in one place for more than a few years anyways, and even while they have stayed in Iron for a good few generations now, we'll that just means it's time for a big change right?

"There is this fanon piece of land that's basically a neutral zone between senju and Uchiha, so like it's free real estate"

OK NOW HEAR ME OUT:

The neutral zone is that previously mentioned space just a few miles away from the teritories where Konoha is supposed to eventually go. The one team Ro is camping out in

The Hatake's are lowkey setting up shop there, free game right? The first few guys that come there to sniff around technically have Tobirama's invitation in hand so like. Senju approval bc allies and I don't really think Hashirama is gonna tell them to go away.

By the time the whole clan is setting up there fr it's. A bit too late to tell them to go away. Like the Uchiha's are eyeing these big ass wolves making eyes at the Senju like *you INVITED these guys here?? THESE guys???? All of them???? Like to LIVE here?????*

The Uchiha clan + the majority of the Senju: "Whatcha got there Tobirama?"

Tobirama, standing in front of a wild clan with a notoriously bad reputation for being insane blood thirsty animals that he technically invited over: "A smoothie"

Hashirama: "and puppies!!!!!!"

He didn't actually expect them to settle in this much. He sort of figured they'd grab Kakashi by the scruff and drag him off maybe. Or just kinda say hi then leave? He may have miscalculated.

He refuses to admit it tho he's in too deep if anyone asks this was his plan all along.

Izuna is scowling about his "dastardly" and "evil mastermind" plan to have the Hatake's cause chaos by crashing their conflicts and Tobirama is standing there like "Yes. My plan. That I definatley have. And is going well."

Meanwhile behind the scenes he's dodging the Hatake clan head, aka his aunt, who's trying to force feed him raw meat (it's good for growing boys!!!) And nag him about when he's going to get married and give her grandbabies (He is in hell.)

Slight tangent time:

Ok hear me out also tho: Hatake's can eat raw meat and it's actually a pretty important part of their diet — at least back in the warring era.

But again they lost that with them being softened by the village, Sakumo never really needed to eat it / was good at doing it in like "civilized" more acceptable ways (eat his stake a lill bloodier than normal, crack some extra raw eggs into his rice, etc.)

Then he dies and Kakashi doesn't even have context for the cravings so when he does grow up a bit and start randomly wanting to gnaw on raw steak he just sort of shakes himself and goes *what the fuck no I'd get fucking food poisoning* (he would not)

It's just random cravings !! People get those sometimes !! He's learned to ignore it

But like the warring era Hatake's trying to feed him raw meat bc to them its an important part of a Hatake's well rounded diet. They are grabbing him going "You're so skinny you need to eat! What do you MEAN you don't eat raw meat at least once a week no wonder ur a twig!! Don't worry we'll fix that!!!"

Anyways,

Does this mean that the Hatake's now get to be one of the Konoha founders? Yes because I say so. Is this fact giving all of team Ro different flavors of crisises? Also yes! Very much so!

None of them actually know if when they go back, if their actions will have changed their now present. Or if it's like an alternate timeline deal where they'll return to their own timeline but this new world they affected will have a happier future.

HOWEVER.

Im just gonna come out and say that, in this fic that I still refuse to write, it'd end with them cautiously returning home, unsure of what waits for them— only to pretty much get the ideal "happy ending" Konoha.

The Senju are still around and isn't just dwindled to Tsunade,

Orochimaru never went off the deep end and the sannin never broke up,

Danzo is a disgruntled desk guy who takes his issues out via paperwork instead of genocide,

Hashirama and Madara shared the title of first Hokage and then Izuna and Tobirama actually competed for who'd get to NOT be Hokage because neither of them wanted to touch the title (Uchiha Hikaku became second hokage because he's great and I love him)

Sakumo and Minato and everyone are still alive and many of the near extinct minor clans we see existing in the background (even if only in headcanons) including the Hatake still thrive, even if they are small.

All of that good stuff. Happy ending brighter future, etc. etc.

We get to see some of the younger faces who team Ro met who are now all old, like Kagami and some of the Hatake's they met. Maybe get an exasperated, amused line out of Sakumo about how his uncles (aka Kakashi's time travel cousins) have always been so weird about Kakashi after they run off giggling, pleased as hell after the return of *their* Kashi — same with some of the Uchiha elders.

Suddenly actually in this time line a lot of the Uchiha elders are just ??? Weirdly nice to Itachi and Shisui ????? Fugaku doesn't get it but they do a little haughty sniffle and say something about how they just know that Madara-sama would have approved of them or whatever. It's very silly and very bitter sweet bc these guys were totally calling for blood in canon but whatever we get to be silly now fuck you

And oh, awkward moment; Tenzo doesn't seem to have really uhh. Existed here? Orochimaru never went off the deep end so he never went and did fucky mokuton experiments on him. There might have been some random orphan Tenzo somewhere wandering around but it's time travel Tenzo now, let's not think about that too hard btw, just this random kid with no background, a mokuton, and an ANBU mask and Kakashi + Itachi + Shisui's sponsorship.

But this goes better than you'd expect? He didn't really have any connections to anyone besides those three anyways. He'll be fine, really. Though he is sad to have left the people behind in the warring states, especiall—

AND HERE COMES MITO AND TOBIRAMA'S HATAKE AUNTIE, WITH A STEEL CHAIR!!!! THE ONLY SURVIVING OLD PEOPLE FROM THE FOUNDER GENERATION, ABSOLOUTLEY ANCIENT, THEY SHOULD BE DEAD BUT THEY LIVE ON SPITE AND GOSSIP ALONE !!!!! THEYVE WAITED DECADES FOR THIS VERY MOMENT AND THEYRE GOING TO SQUEEZE ALL OF THESE BOYS TO DEATH BUT START WITH TENZO BECAUSE NO ADULTS HAVE CLAIM ON HIM AND THAT MAKES IT OPEN SEASON !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyways.

Team Ro all gathers at the founders grave sights and do a little prayer for them, but it's not sad? They got to say their goodbyes when they came back, and this isn't so much as them mourning but them just,, saying hello again.

Like,

Hey, we made it, we see this konoha— your konoha, and it's everything we could have asked for. Thanks for the adventure, we'll make sure to keep this place safe since you kept it safe for us for so long.

And the sun rises as they lift their bowed heads, and they turn and head back into the konoha that they helped see built.

The end

There are so many naruto time travel fics out there but what I need SPECIFICALLY is an ANBU era team of Kakashi, Tenzo, Itachi, and Shisui getting flung into the founders era.

Like. Ok just looking from the political side of it that's;

A) 2 very young and VERY powerful Uchiha's (one of which is the future clan head!! Politics!!)

B) A very fucked up baby mokuton user who's still in the middle of being deprogrammed and can totally pass for Senju

C) The free wild card that is Hatake clan lore on top of having a stolen sharingan. On top of *that* him being the team leader of a team of kids who, in the time period context, should both be at eachothers throats and probably not be expected to obey the commands of someone not only from another clan but a way smaller one

Theres SO much potential there!! So many political implications in virtually ALL of the directions!!!!

Yk what as I'm typing this out I'm having ✨️ideas✨️ so let's make some story points to sort those out:

• I think itd be neat to have this happen like. A year? Ish? Before the massacre? So age wise, and full disclaimer I'm referencing Google and Wikipedia rn so I could totally be wrong, I think that's :

Could be wrong about the ages but honestly it's my world you're just living in it, so.

Then me going totally purely off of my own headcannons, were going to say they came in a about a year before Izuna died and place the founders ages as:

Big fan of Tobirama being the youngest between the 4 but projecting the aura of someone as old as like. Idk, however old Madara is. Very funny to me, 10/10

• I'm personally a big fan of dogteeth kakashi so we're running with that all the way home. Also a huge fan of the "Hatake's are a distant, more feral cousin of Inuzuka clan" hc along with some sprinklings of "back in the day they had a bit of a Reputation(tm) for being a 'lill wild, and everyone generally tries to avoid them. Which isn't too much of a problem because theyre a very small out of the way clan from Iron, they just have a big reputation in contrast to their size.

In more modern times tho, along with (obviously) having dwindled down to a single depressed teenager, they've become a lot tamer over the years due to village life. Kakashi is a Hatake, 100%, but he is NOT up to the standards of this time. Which becomes a bit funny when people see him, go "oh FUCK it's a Hatake" and then start edging slowly towards the door like he's about to rip their throat out with his teeth. Meanwhile he's standing there like 🧍‍♂️"am I that ugly."

Give me a scene where, finally used to this reaction to him from the general shinobi population, the team starts to use it to their advantage.

"Give us the scroll or we'll let the Hatake off the leash to have his fun with you. He's been awfully hungry latley you know, hasn't had fresh meat in days"

Kakashi, feeling kind of stupid, gave his best growl.

It caused an almost immediate, embaressed flush to rise to his face, but he didn't let up. It sounded more like an almost pathetic puppy growl than anything to his ears, but apparently it was enough to convince the trembling enemy nin because he slowly lifted the scroll up in offering.

Wow. Now he couldn't tell if he was embaressed for himself or for this guy.

Probably both to be honest.

• So like. Itachi is the clan heir. That's big. That's important. Let's do something with that.

First off, I had a great time reading this one fic (tho I don't even remember what the fic itself was about now, oops) where a plot point of it was how Sasuke is just a walking stereotype of main house Uchiha. Like people look at him and they don't just go "oh that's an Uchiha." They go "oh fuck that's an UCHIHA Uchiha." He's so fucking painfully, obviously related to the very tippy top of the clan that anyone not blind can tell. It's in the way he looks, it's in the way he talks and treats those around him, it's in the way he fucking holds himself. You look at him and every other stereotype about the Uchiha clan is there in big, bold letters. (On top of that he's also a dead wringer for Izuna, which I'm such a sucker for and desperatley wish people would do more with)

So like let's give that to Itachi here because it's so fun for several reasons.

First off; Sasuke in this is like. Straight up a doppelganger of Izuna, just a few generations apart. They could be twins. Itachi, as I'm sure you are aware, is Sasuke's big brother. So let's take some liberties and say that Itachi could absoloutley pass as a blood sibling to Izuna and Madara.

He is however 12, so we're also going to say that the only people who get to make this connection is anyone who's seen the siblings when they were also at a similar age.

On top of that however he has the 'walking amalgamation of all the stereotypes of the main Uchiha house' so anyone who isn't blind will look at him and assume he's somewhere in the sphere of 'important main house person' tho who really knows how distant the relation may be exactly. No one !! That's who !!!

Second; He's the fucking clan heir!! What the fuck!! This bit would have the most impact after all the messy time travel reveals when things have settled down a bit, so it'll sit in the back pocket for a bit. Save it for some fun shaking up later down the line so we don't run out of all the fun reveals too fast and bore the readers, yk?

When it is brought up tho it'd be fun to maybe have some fucky Itachi and Madara mutual understandings of the way things work.

• So. Madara is like a bit of a scary bed time story to Uchiha children, right? Like. "Ooo make sure you don't get too obsessive or fall too deep into your grief and always stay loyal to the village or you'll end up just like Madara!!"

Something something Uchiha-Village relationships are tense as hell, something something Madara fucking over a lot of the clan with his whole. Everything., Something something scapegoat and old stories, something something 'people have probably been talking a lot more about how "god dammit this all started with Madara" in recent years.'

Now with that in mind let's take a look of what our time travelers think of Madara:

Itachi is a good Konoha soldier. Itachi (as has been very much fucking proven) would rather beat a possible problem before it even exists with a hammer till it dies an ugly bloody death than even RISK it blossoming into a proper problem. Itachi does not like Madara. Itachi personally, quietly thinks they should maybe wait till the village is formed then carefully arrange a little accident for him before he goes off the rails. He, even more quietly, maybe even thinks it would be a kindness. Allow him to be remembered well by the village instead of scorned.

Shisui I think is cautiously optimistic about him. He's the kind of guy who gives the benefit of the doubt, who weighs the options, risk and reward, but includes things like hope and compassion in his calculations. Yes, Madara was a uhh. Thing. That happened. But in every story his big blow up always come from one specific event; Izuna's death. So if they stop that from happening, wouldn't it secure both a better future for them and Madara? The history books never went into detail about Izuna, he doesn't know what he's like, but maybe his involvement in the future, on Konoha's side, could lead to even more profits for them long term. At the end of the day he's not against killing Madara (though to be clear, they are at first operating on trying to avoid all interactions with historical events and return home without touching things) but it'd be nice, to manage to get a happy ending for everyone. Unrealistic maybe, but nice.

Mmmm hear me out actually, maybe Shisui, after interacting with him a bit, finds that Madara reminds him of Itachi too. They definatley both have that "I would do unspeakable things to even dream of my loved just one more time" energy, if you know what I mean

Anyways; Kakashi and Tenzo are both neutral on Madara. Yes, they learned about how he betrayed the village when young just like everyone else, but they weren't getting the bed time stories and "do this and you'll end up just like him" warnings like the Uchiha's. They're possibly leaning into negative but are detached from the situation enough to just go "well he hasn't done it yet and his brother is still alive so he won't any time soon" and be done with it

• Now, on the the total opposite side of the spectrum you have Hashirama and Tobirama. People are brought up in Konoha to fucking IDOLIZE these guys. You can not tell me our team of time travelers wouldn't be at least a little awed to speak with them.

I think Tenzo would be the most wide eyed about Hashirama, both for the baseline "holy shit that's the Shodai Hokage" and also that fun juicy mokuton user imposter syndrome he has going on for him. That guys DNA is inside his body!!! Holy shit wait does that mean if someone did a blood relation test with them he might read as being related to him?? Fuck were gonna pocket that for now but like. Mmmmm potential.

I'd say Itachi is the most hesitant about Tobirama but again, village loyalist, so.

You know what tho maybe Shisui is the most hesitant about him (though still largely positive) he both def grew up looking up to him but can also see the anti-Uchiha policies people inact now with the implications that Tobirama would have approved of it. He doesn't know if he would, but like, he has to wonder.

Kakashi is probably the most normal about them (and also has experience in being close to a hokage (Minato) to know that at the end of the day they are painfully human) Don't get me wrong, he's still in some sort of awe! He might get a little lightheaded at the thought of seeing the God of Shinobi in proper battle, or the possibility to see the famed genius of Tobirama with all the different jutsu's he's invented. You can't tell me Kakashi didn't spend a little extra time reading about him when he was trying to make Chidori. Honestly I'm gonna roll with that and say he had a bit of a phase as a kid where he was a total fan boy. Maybe sprinkle in the good old HalfHatake!Tobirama hc to add some faint daydreams a lonley babykashi had after his father's death, about getting to meet him as family. Like cmon, little genius idolizing and projecting on some big history figure only to find out they're actually related? Can you say potential?

Anyways he did eventually grow out of the phase, probably got unattached to it all and lost interest after the whole "losing everything he loved" bit of his life. And at the end of the day, he doesn't have any real complex personal hang ups on the founders like the others do. Thus, most normal.

• And then my favorite most special boy, Izuna !! He's for sure the one they're all most neutral about. He's not actually taught about in the academy? There's probably some throw away line about him in some history books somewhere, but he died young and was quickly buried by the looming shadow of Konoha. The only real knowledge had about him in modern times is just a vague "Yeah he got killed by Tobirama which lead to peace being made but also lead to Madara losing his shit"

Poor Izuna he's the linchpin for it all but was left an unremarkable footnote of history. My boy deserves so much better

Tenzo doesn't actually even know who he is, that boy got bare minimum education under Danzo and Izuna was NOT included.

Itachi and Shisui mmmaybe have some small little fun fact here or there buried in stories from the older members of the clans but like. It's gonna amount to just "yeah he had a great katon" and thats about it.

I WILL SAY HOWEVER. Itachi sees him and instantly is that one PTSD dog meme. Sasuke is a BABY but holy shit Izuna looks exactly like he'd expect him to grow up as and it's making him FEEL THINGS. Also he's so bratty little brother coded !! He's an entire 7 years older than Itachi but Ifachi keeps fucking up and trying to big brother him it's embaressing.

And ofc Itachi didn't go into the first meeting thinking he'd see some weird older mirror version of his beloved baby brother who he misses and worries about very very much. So like. There's for sure going to be some conflict there. If their first meeting is a scuffle (which it probably will be) I think Itachi would keep hesitating to attack. On full run away mode. Which is probably for the best bc he shouldn't try to fight Izuna anyways honey he's like double your bodyweight and you're strong but you aren't THAT strong.

• Pointing back at both the 'Itachi does not like Madara and has quiet thoughts about how it'd possibly be in everyone's interest to just kill him' and the 'Itachi and Madara quietly bond over being clain head/heir during stressful times (w pressure from the elders especially)

I can see 2 outcomes of a potential bonding conversation with them:

1) They come to understand eachother better.

Madara wants to be on good terms, he looks at this kid and sees one of his brothers eyes and the others quiet determination. He can tell Itachi doesn't like him for some reason, and it's frustrating because he doesn't know why. He wants him to like him. He wants to be able to offer his hand and have it taken. It hurts, to be looked at with such suspicion from a face that has traces of Izuna's.

Meanwhile Itachi . . . Itachi looks at Madara and he sees someone who gets it. Gets it like no one ever has. It scares him. He looks up at this man, this horror story he's been told to fear becoming, and he sees himself. And this realization shakes him. It makes him think, makes him wonder. He's so, so sure of his loyalty to Konoha. More sure than he is of anything else in the world. But . . . But if something happened to Sasuke, if he had to choose—

And maybe it softens something in him too, along with the (honestly healthy) dose of fear. It forms a little crack in his shell, just enough to maybe, maybe let Madara through. Just a hair.

Or 2) we pull one of those "The conversation ends with them agreeing verbally but mentally they're on 2 VERY different notes."

Madara, nodding and looking at Itachi meaningfully: "Yeah it can be hard, but all we can really do is try to make the world a safer place for the ones we love. (To create Konoha, to keep my clan safe. Izuna safe. And now to keep you safe too.)

Itachi, nodding slowly: "Yeah. No matter how hard it is (even though I think I understand you more than anyone else Ive ever met) we have to try to make the world a safer place (by killing you in your sleep once Konoha is formed) for the ones we love (My clan. My village. Sasuke.)"

• Also pointing back at the 'Hatake warring clan era reputation,' the 'Tobirama is half Hatake' and also now pointing at Tobirama's title as the White Demon. Small thing but it'd be neat if there was some small throw away line that the nickname lowkey started in part because of the absoloutley terrifying reputation of the Hatake combined with Tobirama's own Everything(tm) like it just had some influence on how some view him. Give me Uchiha's making dog jokes ab him it'll be funny

• Ok but now the actual plot thoughts. Yeah I know I kept you waiting sorry about that.

So time travel! Probably due to a mission gone wrong. Some ruins or some ancient crumbling scroll that wasn't even supposed to do fucking time travel but was so old and corroded that it somehow managed to transform into a whole other seal by pure bad luck. Or good luck I guess, considering it could have just turned into a nuke.

Our favorite team of disasters are very very alarmed !!! What the fuck !!! Obviously they don't default to thinking time travel, but they immediatley know something is wrong. The landscape has changed, though the big landmarks are still there. The mission was complete anyways with no injuries so they just retreat to Konoha. Only oops !! It's not fucking there!!!

Queue alarm.

Shisui is the first one to suggest time travel because he's quirky like that. And there's a very easy way to confirm this theory.

(Also we're going to say that Konoha's location is a valley a few miles out from the Naka River that borders the Senju / Uchiha territories.)

This is convenient because that verification method involves checking in on where Itachi and Shisui know the old Uchiha compound should rest.

They do it in full stealth mode, the second they saw Konoha was missing Kakashi as team leader decided they'd treat the land as enemy territory. They all agreed ofc, for all they knew this WAS enemy territory now.

And, ofc, yeah!! There's the old Uchiha compound!! Being active!!! There are people there!!!

"What are the odds Fugaku-sama decided to have the clan return to their homeland for ahh, cultural enrichment?" Kakashi asked weakly.

"Time travel." Was the only reply he got from Shisui, whispered reverently as the boy vibrated with excitement on the branch.

Kakashi ( by the skin of his fucking teeth and the advantage that is his stupid amount of jutsu's and lack of self preservation)

Madara - Hashirama

And again that's not counting like. The specific situations, time given to prepare, potential dirty tricks they could play (I think the Konoha tricks would play a fraction dirtier than the others, who are slightly more used to big open battles vs the ANBU squad who does all sorts of shit in all sorts of places) plus like. Mental state and team ups.

Tenzo or Shisui couldn't take down Izuna or Tobirama but if they teamed up I'd allow it. Kakashi would get his ass kicked by Hashirama or Madara but he could survive a minutes longer than the others would

I love him and he is terrifyingly competent but he won't win 1 on 1 with anyone unless he has some sort of advantage. Minus Shisui and Tenzo who he does have the advantage of regularly fighting, so.

• I think they do get to go back home in the end. It takes a ton of work tho and they probably do need to get Mito's help with it, Kakashi can show them the seal they got brought here with but it's an ACTUAL one in a trillion miracle it didn't fucking atomize them. So it needs a lot of touch ups

As the young couple stand infront of the doorway smiling, the older couple is staring at them, one in nervousness, and the other in shock. (I’m talking Denki going 4 million volts shocked)

“Well.....Welcome Izuru! I knew you’d be coming over soon but I didn’t expect it tonight. It’s lovely to meet you,” Y/N ever so kindly said once she let out a sigh.

Her husband almost got whiplash from how fast he turned to look at her. “Knew?!? You knew about this kid?? And didn’t bother to tell me?!??”

“Well if I told you, you woulda stopped this meeting from happening ya jerk!” Y/N visciously explained.

“YA DAMN RIGHT CUZ-“ silenced with another smack from his wife. Y/N sure learned a lot from Mitsuki. “Please come in you two, I’ll start dinner.”

As the young couple sat in the living room speaking, the older one was in the kitchen preparing food. Well one of them was, the other was too busy burning a whole into the poor boy’s body with just his eyes.

“Ow.” Continues to stare

“Suki stop that, you’re gonna scare the poor boy.” Y/N said.

“GOOD. I DONT WANT SOMEONE LIKE HIM CONTAMINATING THE BAKUGOU LINE!” The blonde dramatically yelled.

“Contaminating? Love, we don’t even know if they’ve had sex. I doubt he’s “contaminating” anything any time soon.” You said with attitude.

Bakugou just stared at you know with the same look.

“Hmph!” And turned to look back at the kids.

“HEY!” Bakugou screamed.

“Heyyyyy~” Katsumi replied.

“No not “Heyyyy~,” Katsuki began and replied with a girly impersonation of his daughter as he walk towards the couple. “I mean, HEY, as in have you had sex with this kid?” He sternly asked.

“KATSUKI OH MY GOD,” Y/N screamed as she dropped something in shock.

“.......Yeah, so what?” His daughter replied.

Y/N wasn’t even mad. She already knew. She could tell. Mother’s instinct I guess.

Katsuki was fuming.

“NOPE! NO! THIS RELATIONSHIP WONT GO ON! YOU’RE TOO YOUNG TO BE HAVING SEX!” The older blonde screamed while looking at the now blushing green haired teen and his rebellious daughter. And Y/N was just giving him this...look.

‘What a fucking hypocrite’ you thought to yourself.

“How old were you when you fucked mom?”

Pure and utter silence.

Katsuki started stepping back from the couple while facing them and nodding his head. “.....use condoms,” and walked back to his deceased wife.

As dinner is placed on the table and everyone takes their seats, Katsuki can’t help but stare at this boy. Why does he seem so familiar?

Everyone just ate and talked. Grades, school, when did y’all meet, how long has it been? The usual. But Katsuki remained silent while thinking. And then..it clicked!

Katsuki slammed his hands on the table and stood up from his seat looking at the boy across from him. “What’s your last name?!”

Izuru was nervous because he was well aware of who Katsumi’s father was and how her father’s relationship with his own father was kinda iffy.

“M-Midoriya sir.” He nervously stated.

Katsuki saw red.

“DEKU?!??????!!!!!” He screamed

“Oh come on Katsuki! Like that wasn’t obvious!” You said rolling your eyes.

“There is NO WAY IN HELL I’m gonna let the Bakugou line be contaminated with Deku’s genes! Our family line only brings in the best of the best!” Katsuki proudly and loudly stated.

“So what am I?” Y/N asked.

“The best of the best! You were and are the perfect one for me Y/N! You know this, I know this, everyone knows this. And look at what we created-“ he was interrupted by his wife.

“A mini you?”

“A MINI ME! And who wouldn’t want that?!”

“Dad.” Katsumi said.

Now that caught Katsuki off guard. For the past 16 years, Katsumi has always been a daddy’s girl. She never called him “dad,” ew. She said “Daddy,” or “Shitty dad.” As Katsuki turned to his daughter he could see the look in her eyes.

“.......you really wanna be with this kid?” He asked.

“I really do.” Katsumi said while grabbing onto Izuru’s hand.

“...Ok then. You can be with him.” Katsuki calmly said.

Katsumi excitingly got up and ran towards her dad’s seat giving him a hug.

“Thanks daddy,” she said while giving him a kiss on the cheek.

Dinner continued on as normal as it could. Katsuki was just gonna have to learn how to let go.

Later

As the married couple got ready to sleep, Katsuki was hanging outside their balcony.

“What was up with you Blasty? I haven’t seen that kinda Katsuki since UA.” You jokingly said as you went to stand beside him.

“You’re not scared?” Katsuki asked.

“Of?”

“Katsumi. She’s growing up. She has a boyfriend now. That girl is having sex! She’s not daddy’s little girl anymore.” He sadly said.

“That’s what this is about? Katsumi growing up? Suki, this was always gonna happen. She’s in her prime teenage years. She’s 16! A lots gonna start happening.” You began.

“I know that but-“

“But nothing Katsuki. You can be scared of her growing up, I am too, but we can’t be so scared that we try and stop her. You just have to know that Katsumi will always come back to us no matter how old she is. And she will always, always be a daddy’s girl. Her entire world revolves around you Katsuki, but we gotta let her go at some point. We have to let her grow. That’s how the best of the best are made after all, right? It’s what we look for in a Bakugou.” You finished.

Katsuki couldnt do anything but smile. You were right. He knew you were. And he was willing to let his little cub grow.

“......You’ve gotta stop interrupting me when I talk.” He laughed.

“And you’ve gotta stop saying the dumbest shit in the world.” You teased back.

He pulled you in for a quick peck and just held you there in his arms. He was so glad he had you to keep him grounded. You’re the best of the best after all. It only makes sense.

“Daddy?” Katsumi walked into her parents room, unnoticed.

As the two broke the hug to see their daughter, looking a little timid, Katsuki spoke.

“Katsumi, hey princess. What’s up with you.” Katsuki asked as he walked towards his daughter.

“You’re not...disappointed in me, right? You know, for who I chose to be with. I’m sorry if I chose Izuru but I-“ this time, it was Katsuki who interrupted.

“Hey hey, no of course not baby bear. I would never be disappointed in who your true feelings pulled you to. I don’t want you to apologize for anything when today I caused most of the trouble.” Katsuki said while wiping one of his daughter’s stray tears.

“You know I’m never gonna leave you guys. Right? I’m gonna grow up but I’ll always want to have a close relationship with you and mom. I love you guys, and I’m not going anywhere.” Katsumi said.

“We know Katsumi. And we love you too. And we’re far from disappointed in you. We are so proud of the young woman you’ve become today.” Y/N joined in.

Katsumi ran to her mother and gave her the tightest hug, and Katsuki couldn’t help but stare at his two girls. His world. His entire reason for living. All right there in his arms as he pulled them in for a bigger hug.

“Thanks you guys. Well, I’m gonna head to bed. I’ve got a date with Izuru tomorrow and I don’t wanna be late.” Katsumi began walking towards her parents door until Katsuki called her.

“Hey baby bear,”

“Yeah?”

“Izuru. He seems alright. He’ll be good for you.” Katsuki admitted.

“Yeah. He really is. He’s the best of the best after all. Reminds me of someone I know.” Katsumi said while leaving the room.

Yeah. Katsuki will be just fine.

meanwhile kunimi eats a kitkat like its pizza just CHOMP

makki caNNOT sleep without a pillow between his thighs LIKE LISTEN he has 2 sisters and they all told him its so comfortable and at first he was like,, ??,, then he tried and now cant sleep without it

bUT MATTSUN LIKES TO SLEEP WITH PILLOWS SURROUNDING HIM bc it makes him feel safe and like there are two body pillows on either side of him and hes kinda trapped in the middle aksjskdk

when kyo was younger, he was really short and although he had other pants, he loved this one pair but they were really long on him and he wore it all the time and the part of the pants that touched the ground is torn in shreds

kindaichi steps on the sofa before sitting LIKE puts one foot on the cushion then the other until hes literally standing on the couch before folding to sit with his knees up to his chest (i do this)

watari sniffs his food before eating it no matter if its something he eats all the time or something new, he still sniffs it either way

yahaba is really particular with his feet and he likes to get a really big tupperware (duh one only meant for his feet) and fill it up with warm almost boiling water and he just soaks them

oikawa has sleep paralysis and he oftens hallucinates about aliens in the corner of his room

kunimi does this thing where he makes weird noises with his mouth like sounds of his mouth opening LIKE when youre tastinf something new and you do that sound with your tongue (I DUNNO HOW TO DESCRIBE IT AJDKSKKD)

makki bends his knees just to crack his ankles

iwa sneezes a ton but he has those sneezes where theyre quiet that you dont even notice or really loudly that it just echoes throughout the gym

kyo sleeps with one sock on bc his feet gets cold easily but both socks make him feel really hot so only one sock is perfect

for a tall and hunk of a guy, mattsun is a very light walker like his footsteps are very light and if he wants to, it can be practically silent

watari actually hates vegetables ajssksksk he particularly hates zucchini, eggplants, any vegetables that are that shape

kindaichi likes to stick or lean against walls because to him, they feel cold and can decrease his body heat

oikawa stands and places his feet at V position like \/ instead of ll because his sister did ballet and he was taught that was the right way of standing and it was considered graceful

yahaba has a fear of cactuses

mattsun does so badly in the heat because his body temp runs so high and the hot surroundings make him feel so uncomfortable and so he takes a lot of cold showers

iwa cannot swim like he freaks out immediately when his toetips can no longer feel the bottom and he panics with thoughts of drowning

watari has really small feet that he still buys big kids shoes to save money

kyotani considered playing baseball because he thought baseball bats were cool but he got angry and threw tantrum after missing his first pitch

iwa chomps on a whole raw chili while eating ramen akskksks

oikawa actually hates sweets bc when he was younger, he had cavities and iwa showed him a cartoon of cavities eating his teeth and will make him toothless

kindaichi really really likes hugs but hes too awkward to ask them even from his parents

yahaba chomps on mints so he goes through boxes of them in a week

i feel like theres a boy in the team who doesnt brush their teeth everyday and rubs a towel on their teeth to make it look clean and take mints to hide their bad breath

iwaizumi is actually iron deficient so he bruises super super fast and he even developed iron defiency anemia when he was younger bc his parents didnt catch on which caused him to be put on strong medication for months and still takes it now

WAIT,, OIKAWA IS LACTOSE INTOLERANT BUT HE LIKES MILK SO HE EATS MILK BREAD TO MAKE HIM FEEL NOT SO BAD OR GUILTY OF CONSUMING STRAIGHT DAIRY

seijoh four bonding time is watching gordom ramsey shows and yelling and screaming 'YEA! EXACTLY!' as if theyre also cooking genuises

watari used to eat grapes all the time until his mom got worried and told him if he doesnt stop, he will eventually turn into one. he only eats it every few weeks

when he was younger, kunimi cried because he had befriended a chicken on a trip to a farm and his mom took him to eat fried chicken after and he thought it was Chicky (his chicken friend :"))

kyotani used to stick out his tongue when it was raining so he could taste the raindrops. they taste better than bottled water

one time, during a seijoh sleepover, they dared oikawa to wear his sisters old uniform, skirt and all, and it backfired so everyone turned red and couldnt look at him in the face

their pregame ritual is touching each other's shoe tips

they tried doing yoga at yahaba's house before by watching yoga youtube videos but everyone ended up having to go to the chiropractor after (how did makki even turn into the human pretzel?)

the local gym gets so scared when they see the team coming through the doors bc these men are so LOUD like they HYPE EACH OTHER UP SO MUCH THEYRE SO ANNOYING AKSKSKDK

also never take them to an all you can eat sushi place. if you do, bring them earlier of the day like 30 mins after opening time so the cooks can cook enough for them without running out of ingredients (even then sometimes they still run out)

oikawa used to eat his mom's roses from her garden because he thought it would make his farts smell good like roses

takahiro is a surprisingly good artist like he draws really cool action fighting scenes in the corner of his papers and stuff

in my work: it's canon that iwa is half filo and his nanay used to dress him up in a barong all the time during halloween bc she wanted him to showcase his heritage

yahaba drinks a lot of milk because he hopes to one day grow strong and bulky like the 3rd years instead of being seen as a pretty boy

kindaichi's mom is a hairstylist and she always scolds him for using a lot of gel bc she's always the one who washes his hair

the team alternates from different music genres like from ateez and bts to mxmtoon and beach bunny

they still dont know how to pronounce camila cabello's name

theyre all active in social media but only oikawa is on it 24/7 and in all platforms while the others have insta and snap

mattsun has twins as little siblings and he used to get them mixed up all the time that he used to draw a sharpie dot on the girl's forehead to determine she was his sister

watari hates sitting on the floor bc his butt bone hurts really easily so he can only sit on cushions for long periods of time

the team was supposed to have a party but everyone didnt know what to bring so they proved they shared the same braincell by bringing the same thing: a box of pizza

makki's an old soul and prefers to play records on a record player or watch old movies

kyo is surprisingly good at giving massages because he really pushed hard on those tense muscles

the only one who has a license is matsukawa and thats because granny needs to go to the doctor a lot and he hates her walking by herself and cabs are expensive

WARNING SAD: mattsun’s future job is a funeral person right? he ends up taking care of granny’s funeral free of charge and he had to take a week off because it was really painful for him

oikawa learned spanish SUPER fast to the point he forgets japanese sometimes but there are moments where he forgets both languages and hes just,,,, ???

makki’s unemployed yea but he rooms with mattsun in exchange of cooking because makki’s surprisingly good at cooking

iwa is practically the nutritionist of the team because he knows everything about proteins, carbs, iron, and needed vitamins so they all go to him to know what to eat and what they need

kunimi has lots and lots of shoes but usually only wears 2

kindaichi has a habit of pretending hes chewing gum even though he doesnt have gum, his mouth just chomps and moves with air akasldfjkf

there was a clown phenomenon in america but in their city, they had a mascots and seijoh 4 went around scaring kids :”(

hellooo can i request smth w nishinoya please 🥺👉🏽👈🏽 so he meets y/n in the park bc shes tryna learn how to skateboard for the first time and he sees her fall and is like OMGKDKSKSK ARE U OKAY (she is, she was wearing knee pads and shit) anyways so they become friends and hang out and then start dating and NOBODY on the team believes noya bagged a cutie bc she’s super smart and studious but she’s lowkey so chaotic and loves trying new things (hence her new years resolution to learn to skateboard am i basing this off me you’ll never know) and she’s always dragging him out to new places in miyagi, maybe they even catch trains to tokyo and stuff omg ANYWAYS she goes to another school but noya and tanaka have exams soon and noya’s like “my gf is super smart!! and organized! she’ll help!!!) and they acc meet her there and she’s super friendly and cracks jokes so noya and tanaka are like “this will be a BREEZE” but she does NOT fuck around w school so she flips a switch like “how do you NOT have a schedule for your exams??? omg how do you keep organized??” tanaka and noya: “👀👁👁 we don’t,,,” and she won’t slack off w noya just bc they’re dating KFKSKSKS. bonus points if she has a notion account bc i’m obsessed w organizing everything in my life w mine, it’s acc an issue. ofc no pressure bc this is SUPER long, headcannons or drabble is all up to you babes!! ❤️

Meeting and Studying with Nishinoya Yū Headcanons:

• Resolutions. This was it, you were going to stick to this one. Hence why you warily balanced on a skateboard about to plummet to your doom - it'll be fine...

• Until your board went scuttling across the pavement leaving you in it's dust, with no intention of returning, much to your aggravation.

"WOAH ARE YOU OKAY?! ARE YOU HURT - THAT WAS A TRIP AND A HALF! A-" It was probably the loudest voice you'd heard, with a blonde tuff hovering over you in seconds.

"I'm fine, I'm fine, please calm down!"

• With an apologetical smile, the boy pulled you to your feet, introducing himself as Nishinoya Yū. A contrastingly shyer tone than that previously, including the heat rising on his features.

"Sorry, I saw you fly and panicked, then I actually saw you and..."

"And...?" You parroted, brushing yourself and kneepads off with a lazy smile.

"And I thought you seemed nice, can't have a nice person getting hurt, right?"

• Now you’ve actually met, you start noticing each other a lot more since he trains on the court near the skatepark. Nishinoya will offer a greeting or wave as he passes, not being brave enough to imitate conversation yet but you both work up to that.

• Eventually you meet up after you’ve finished skateboarding and Volleyball respectively, or assist the other in their independent practices once you grow comfortable. He’ll hold you to balance on the board, in return you throw balls for him to receive/dig.

• The sparks of romantic connection are there and soon your hangouts begin to mirror dates, just without the classification. You’ll do things outside of the park, like getting food or venturing to some cool place one of you had heard of.

• It's an adventure everyday with him, you were known to explore the streets of Miyagi - you'd found all of the skateparks, dropped into Ukais' store every so often much to his 'annoyance' and even got yourselves train passes.

• His team honestly do not believe him, even if the lovestruck grin he wears whenever he speaks of you is eerily convincing.

Asahi give him the benefit of the doubt, hence why he and Tanaka are the first to see a picture of you. Hinata also trusts in his Senpai, and Ukai begrudgingly confirms your existence having met you.

• Ōsaka? Been there. Yokohama? The dock has an amazing view. Tokyo? Some of the best Cafés in Japan. You could tell he had a sense of adventure, and you doubted Japan would keep him for long.

• It wasn't unusual for Nishinoya to come in with weird snacks or mementos for the team.

"Eh? Noya, where'd you get this?" Tanaka questions his bright friend, the item foreign of Miyagi garnering his attention.

"(Y/n) and I went to Tokyo the other day!"

"Without me?!" It seems you had a self-proclaimed Third Wheel™ on your hands now. You didn’t mind, his friends were pretty amazing.

• They first properly hear/met you when Karasuno are planning for exams, and Tanaka, Nishinoya, Kageyama and Hinata are the main concerns due their lack of academic prowess - Noya is a sparkling ray of sunshine though.

"We got this Ryuu! My partner is super smart, and can help us study!"

"Have I ever told you how glad I am that you met (Y/n)?"

• Nishinoya calls you in the midst of chaos, voice all too happy to hear yours with the echoes of Karasuno muttering greeting in the background.

"Hey gorgeous! Think you could help Tanaka and I study? I'll buy your favourite foods as a thank you!"

"Yeah, it'll be useful for me too."

"(Y/N)-CHAN SAID YES!"

An array of cheers swarmed the phone causing you to wince, it's not like you were getting married but clearly the grades of these two were a problem.

• Nevertheless, the pair rocked up to your house with more snacks than study material - a twitch of your eye sent to them in disbelief. It only gets worse when you set up and ask about their preparations.

• "You... you don't have an exam schedule?"

"Nope~" They're far to gleeful about it and it's setting you on edge, honestly your heart is spasming at how uncoordinated they are. With no worries about it.

"Then how do you stay organised?"

A moment of silence passes, the two noting the pensive shift in atmosphere and meet your unnerved gaze with blank stares.

"...We don't...?"

• The slam of your head hitting the desk made them jump, a pained groan escaping as you took a much needed deep breath. This is gonna be tough.

• Nishinoya is quick-thinking, so he innocently leans in to kiss you as a distraction and a reward once you get on with the study session. Only, you whip out of the way so fast, the boy nearly face-plants the floor.

"(Y-y/n)?! What the heck was that for?" He’s pouting at you, puppy eyes sent your way as he catches himself whilst you simply sigh.

"No kisses until we're done studying."

"None? Like at all?! How am I gonna survive?"

"HAHA you got rejected SO HARD!" Tanakas laughter echoes around the room, the Spikers hand slapping your table in amusement.

"I don't recall you finishing your page either Tanaka-san." An expectant brow is raised his direction, a quick awkward cough sputtering from him with Nishinoya issuing a subtle smug smirk.

"...no, I'm - uh, I'm doing it..."

• You’ve set them up Notion accounts to keep themselves in check whilst you’re not around because honestly, you lacked the trust they’d do it themselves. They’re grateful though, hence the array of snacks/flowers (and screenshots of their revision) you received.

• Boys ACE their exams and come bombing into you after school thanking you and praising your organisation skills like a shrine. Then Yū catches you off guard with an excited kiss to your lips.

"You owe me~"

Yeah he's kinda right, and how could you deny?

• The whole Volleyball team is apparently really proud. Daichi politely requests if you could help Hinata and Kageyama too - but Yū swoops in promising to spare them. Or keep you to himself. It’s undecided...

• Either way, he’s all too glad to treat you to a trip to Tokyo - having found this cool Cat Café or skatepark online, the choice is yours. It’s his personal way of saying thank you for just being you.

Of course, Tanaka saw one of the pictures you posted and proceeded to text.
